Our Story

About twelve years ago, my daughter Jamie and I sat down and started tossing around a simple idea: recovery from surgery didn’t have to feel so clinical or lonely. What if you could send someone a little laughter, a few thoughtful (and slightly ridiculous) surprises, and the message that you were thinking of them? We sketched out the basic concept together and had a lot of fun doing it.

Jamie passed away before we ever got the chance to turn those ideas into a real company.

Now in 2026 we decided it was time. We pulled out the old notes, dusted them off, and started building. What began as Jamie’s fun, lighthearted vision has grown into SurgicalSweet™ — a Utah family business that creates recovery gift kits designed to make people smile when they need it most. SurgicalSweet just went live at the end of July.

Today we get to expand on her original spark every day. From the SurgicalSweet™ Snip Kit™ and Uplift Kit™ to the Hip Happens Kit™, Kneesy Does It Kit™, and the rest of the collection, every kit carries a little of that early brainstorming energy.
